What did Mary & the disciples experience during the time when Jesus was arrested, condemned & scourged? What were they feeling as He carried His Cross to Golgatha? How did grief & loss influence their feelings & actions? As we make efforts to emerge from the pandemic & walk the pilgrim way of Lent, our own grief & loss might be influencing the way we feel pray, & live.
What emotions flooded the hearts of Mary & the disciples following the event of the Crucifixion of Jesus & how were they moved to act? What emotions propel us in our current reality & in our spiritual lives, at a time when we are called to open to the Spirit?
In the conferences, we will enter into the Triduum days from the perspective of “The Dance of Woe” & “The Dance of Awe.” What does that mean? Together, we will ponder the possible meaning in those present moments for each of us & all of us & in that pondering, we will listen for the invitations. We can follow our Lord, the Holy Spirit, who surely leads us. How can we seek a faithful way forward together? – Nancy Santamaria
