Catholic Community Turns To Online Mass

While Daylesford Abbey, and church communities across the country have closed their doors to the public to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, celebrating Mass and reflecting upon the Lenten season has moved to a digital space. Across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, churches are livestreaming on Facebook and Youtube daily Masses, reflections, meditations, Stations of the Cross and more to keep the community and love of Christ alive.

An online database lists live streams from around the country, as well as other online services to access from home while you practice social distancing, as recommended by the CDC.

Daylesford Abbey actively posts livestreams almost daily. Join us on Facebook Live for daily gospel readings and reflections Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. For Holy Week, Daylesford Abbey will be here for you as an oasis of peace digitally on Facebook.

Our livestream schedule on Facebook is as follows:

April 5, Palm Sunday Mass: 9:00 a.m.

April 9, Holy Thursday: 7:30 p.m.

April 10, Good Friday: 3:00 p.m.

April 11, Easter Vigil:  8:30 p.m.

If you miss any of our daily reflections, or would like to revisit them after the livestream, please find them on YouTube.
